The Mini Edit started out as a conversation with my mother almost two years ago today. After a long week at work I was wistfully pondering what my dream store might look like. ‘Can you imagine what a kids retail environment would be like if you stripped away tradition and really started from scratch? Think about how amazing it would be to create a space designed purely to celebrate fashion and family and nothing else’. As she often does, my mother answered my question with one of her own, ‘why not?’ and for once in my life I did not have an answer.
The Mini Edit was born from this idea and from our desire to offer fashion lovers, who also happen to be parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles or godparents, a truly exceptional shopping experience. We set about collating a definitive edit of the best in contemporary kids fashion, toys and gifting and bringing those pieces to life in a beautiful and inspiring environment.
The edit has now grown to include incredible fashion collections from our partners like Stella McCartney, Kenzo, MSGM and Être Petite alongside stunning design-led toy and gift brands such as Lomography and Penny.
We are so excited to have such incredible partners on board and even more so to finally be able to share what we have been working on with you.
